The house outside of town

Writer's picture: David VorheesDavid Vorhees

There sits a house just outside of town,

Battered, beaten, and broke down

Once it was new and filled with life.

Until a stranger came calling with a knife.

He bound and gagged the family that lived there,

Slowly cutting of pieces, taking great care.

He tortured for a week before they all died.

Then he left whistling with a gleeful stride.

The town was rocked with horror and dismay.

On the walls, in blood, he wrote I will be back one day.
